On Saturday I was employed to record the GLI.TC/H Festival in Birmingham. Amongst other things this involved videoing the major events and capturing some of the details of the event using still photography and video. I was also given access to the Twitter account to update through the day.
Photographs were processed and uploaded to Flickr and can be found in this set. Videos of the talks and performances were trimmed and uploaded to YouTube and can be viewed here. This content can be embedded and shared from here by the organisers.
Additional video recordings of the workshops and ambiance were provided to the festival organiser to be edited by them into a concise package.
Photos were taken with a Nikon DSLR camera enabling reasonable quality in a low-light environment. Video was primarily taken with a Flip camera which gives flexibility and capacity where it lacks in quality.
During the event I was required to help out in some other areas so wasn’t able to get all the material online on the day (as it my preference). All photos were online by Monday and videos were ready for viewing on Tuesday morning.
